Katy Troop studied a non-law degree, before kicking off her career in an editorial/marketing role at VoucherCodes.co.uk. She then career changed to law, securing a training contract at Ashurst. Upon qualification, she left City law to work for the Government Legal Department. She has been there for more than 8 years, most recently working on legal matters involving the Department for Education.
