Q. What motivates you?

The things that motivate you can indicate to a firm whether you are likely to enjoy (and consequently be energised by) the type of work you would carry out if you were offered a graduate role. Good answers I have previously come across included statements such as: “I am motivated by my desire to: secure achievements that truly challenge me on both a personal and intellectual level; constantly learn and develop in order to reach my full potential; stand out from a crowd; be the best I can possibly be” and so on, followed by examples of where the candidate had taken positive action to help achieve these aims.
